Tea Tasting at Le Domaine De Bois Chéri

Hey there! Hope y’all doing good. Well, I have an experience to share with you! Have you been to Le Domaine de Bois Chéri? I have, for the first time and had a great time! A friend suggested to go there and then I checked out the pictures of the place.

Beautiful view despite the fact that the weather was a little gloomy!

Reached there around 2 p.m (just in tea time, lol). Then was warmly welcomed by the staff and they arranged for a table with the teas!

So many flavors! And I liked one the most ; the vanilla one.

The vanilla one was the best for me.

After the tasting, of course I HAD to take PICTURES!!

I just love places like these! And then I also got down in the middle of the plants.

I like the view!

My friends and I actually walked the way back to the entrance so that we could take some pictures on the way.

These trees were so beautiful :

I wanted to go and take a picture near them but it was kinda muddy and I wore WHITE SHOES!

Such a lovely day spent and happy about it. I found it alluring when I saw the pictures on the net and I’m happy I’ve been able to visit.

Well, that’s all. Put “some” pictures of that day in this blog to avoid spamming y’all! Catch you soon!

Quarantining

Hello there ! It’s been real long. . . As we are in corona time and most countries are currently in lockdown, we are getting bored somehow and irritated for not being able to spend normal days with our regular routines. BUT, this is the perfect time to relax, to take care of yourself, to enjoy time with your loved ones at home and do things that you’re unable to do when working or studying. Do ensure that you make the most out of this extra time as when this time is over, work loads & study pressures are going to be doubled !

So, here’s 5 things which I’ve been doing since lockdown started and that you can do apart from Netflix & baking/cooking :

  • Learn a new language

Learning can be so fun sometimes when you got the right tools.

So, you can find apps and sites where you can learn a new language. This may help you in your future too. Being bilingual contributes to a good communication skills. You can find apps such as Duolingo or Babbels and there are many more free apps to learn languages.

In my case, I’m actually learning German at university and through my institution I got the priviledge to access “Formaclic – Rosetta Stone” free. Besides German, I can choose another new language I’m willing to learn and at the end you also get a recognised certificate. Now, during this period, Formaclic is giving special offers for new learners too.

German can be so tough sometimes !
  • Arrange for a house party with good food

Despite the fact that many people are celebrating birthdays during this lockdown period and having special birthday dinners, do a house party without these special occasions. Choose any random day to do it. Spend time together with your loved ones cooking and preparing stuffs for the house party.

You can add some deco at your tables. You can also arrange for some good lighting so that you can set up a dance floor too and dance all night like you would at a night club! This is exactly what my family did and it was such a great time.

Good food + Family = Best Moments
A little deco to set up the mood
  • Try to set up a new workout routine

When going to uni, I’m actually unable to find the appropriate time for working out. After a long day, when I’m back home, I just want to relax and nothin else. So, this quarantine gave me so much free time to finally working out properly.

I downloaded an app for workout called “Women Workout” and it is really effective. You can find many apps related to different types of workout you’re willing to focus on.

It has many options for different types of workout. I really loved this app!
  • TikTok challenges & trends

I know here in Mauritius, most of you maybe don’t really like this app as there are so many people out there are using it for mockery, irrelevant talks, spreading negativity but there are some amazing challenges & trends that I tried [Dalgona coffee, Don’t rush challenge, TikTok dances], along with some amazing effects. TikTok is time consuming for sure but as we got extra time right now, it does not matter, so you can take your time till you finally make the best TikTok.

Trending hashtags which is so fun
  • Have more “me-time”

Personally when I go to uni, I barely have time to really take care of myself, just a good shower and some lotion & deo and I’m done. In other words, I don’t really have my me-time. But I do put a face mask at least once a week & I’ve been using “The Face Shop’s” face wash which is really effective.

So I’m making the the most of this extra time to pamper myself a little more. I do have the time to use some good products from face to toes. Here are the products I’ve been using :

Just gonna list them : FLP Aloe-Ever Shield, Yves Rocher- Hand cream, Labello, Feet up comfort, Rituals body lotion, Yves Rocher Coconut Oil, Essence- Fresh Cologne
These 2 foot cream are so good, leave feet soft and moisturised. My mom brought them & it’s the first time ever I’m using a cream for my feet, lol !

I hope you enjoyed this post. Do make sure you live your best quarantine life at the moment. Let me know if you have been doing the same thing too! And stay home, stay safe ! We’re all in this together and we shall overcome this pandemic soon. Also, those who will be joining work soon, take your necessary precautions for your safety and good luck. Saying that I’m gonna catch y’all soon, ciao !

A typical day in my life – Holidays Edition

Hello there! Hope y’all doing good. I know it’s been super long but I did not really had enough time to write when uni resumed. And as I’m on holidays, I thought of sharing a day in my life with you when I’m home.

1. Waking up routine

So, I put an alarm every morning even if I can sleep till late because I don’t want to lose half of my day sleeping and getting headaches.

I tried to be creative…

I arrange my bed, brush my teeth and have my morning tea without any excuses!!

Tea always!!

2. Cleaning routine

I start cleaning the house and usually get everything done by noon. I like to plan the cleaning process so that I am in time and can enjoy the rest of my day!

3. Chilling time

After cleaning, I usually have a shower, have lunch and chill!

I try to make it fancy sometimes!

Now, it depends on my mood. I either decide to make some TikToks or watching a movie. Either way, I chill till around 4 p.m.

If I have to cook, I start preparing stuffs as from 4 p.m. Else if my mom already prepared dinner, I keep on chilling by watching movies till dinner time!

4. Evening routine

I usually have my dinner around 7 p.m then have a shower and then watch another movie till I feel sleepy and actually going to sleep!

I love watching romantic movies…

And this keeps repeating everyday when I’m home. I’m pretty sure, so many of you can relate to this!

Saying that I’m gonna catch y’all soon, ciao !

Kingwinch Mauritius

Such an amazing day I spent at Kingwinch Mauritius @ Parc Loisirs, Gros Cailloux. I always wanted to do a thrilling sport activity someday but I was scared of water as I don’t really know how to swim. I glad I did it finally ! The Kingwinch Mauritius crew are very welcoming and so kind. They gave all the information and instructions required so that the experience be successful. Here’s my experience :

Getting started for wakeboarding
The instructor tightening the boots on the board
Waiting for instructions
Getting instructed before getting in
First attempt
Finally been able to stand on the board after so many trials !
Returning back
Ended up like this !

After this wonderful time, I got tanned af but was totally worth it ! I will definitely go back there soon. Also, if you’re interested in sports activities then, this place is for you ! Well, catch y’all later, ciao !
